SAGE students and faculty participated in a key regional meeting Sept. 29-Oct. 2, on climate change and health in the Amazon. The workshop was co-organized by the Brazilian Ministry of Health, along with the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO). Professor Patz delivered the opening keynote presentation, and PhD candidate Sarah Olson presented her finding on climate variability and malaria in Amazoni Arab Emirates.
