Ash Anandanarayanan is a graduate student in transportation engineering at UW. He has a bachelors degree in civil engineering from SRM University, India. Ash worked as an environmental engineer in India and the UK before coming to UW-Madison in 2009. At SAGE he is working with his adviser Dr. Carol Barford on a project which aims to estimate the optimum scale of crop-based bioenergy in the state of Wisconsin.  His goal is to work as a sustainable transportation consultant to developing nations.
